奧斯卡極為重要的風向指標「美國演員工會獎」（Screen Actors Guild Awards，SAG Awards） 公布第28屆入圍名單。演員工會獎是由「演員工會暨美國電視和廣播藝人聯合會」（SAG-AFTRA）主辦，由演員、歌手、配音員等領域的成員組成。演員工會獎的部分評審們，亦擁有奧斯卡的投票資格。因此SAG的得主之於奧斯卡，有相當程度的參考價值。
由Jessica Chastain憑《神聖電視台》 （The Eyes of Tammy Faye）獲封影后。而本屆電影女主角入圍者可以說全是熟面孔，包括 Lady Gaga、Nicole Kidman 等，其中Olivia Colman 更是連續兩年入圍演員工會獎。在《Spencer》中飾演戴安娜王妃的 Kristen Stewart 則遺憾落榜。
電影男主角方面，Will Smith 憑《KingRichard》獲封影帝，擊敗繼《險路勿近》、《007：空降危機》後今年以《成為里卡多之路》再度入圍演員工會獎的西班牙演員 Javier Bardem ，以及在《犬山記》帶來精彩演繹的 Benedict Cumberbatch男星。
電視類別方面，因《魷魚遊戲》而在全球大火的鄭浩妍及李政宰分別奪得視后視帝。以下來看第28屆《演員工會獎》（SAG）完整獲獎名單。
