If you thought your screen time had finally peaked, Disney+’s 2026 line-up is here to prove you wrong. This year’s selection feels less like a generic content drop and more like a curated collection of everything we’ve been missing, effortlessly pivoting from the grounded intensity of Daredevil: Born Again to the glittering whimsy of a Sabrina Carpenter-led Muppets special. Whether you’re craving high-stakes drama or just a good laugh, Disney+ has curated a 2026 calendar that ensures your watch list is full before the year has even truly begun.
A Thousand Blows: Season 2
Steven Knight—the mastermind who made flat caps the ultimate chic accessory via Peaky Blinders—returns to the smog-filled streets of Victorian London for a highly anticipated second season. This compelling drama draws its allure from the remarkable true stories of those battling for survival in the brutal East End of the 1880s. We follow Jamaican immigrant Hezekiah Moscow (Malachi Kirby) as he is thrust into the criminal underbelly of London’s thriving bare-knuckle boxing scene—a world where the fists are as hard as the reality. With Emmy-winners Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty rounding out a powerhouse cast, the show explores the intersection of migrant ambition and organised crime. It’s a knockout take on historical grit that truly packs a punch.
Tell Me Lies: Season 3
If you thought your last breakup was messy, Lucy and Stephen are here to remind you that things could be significantly worse. Returning for the third outing of collegiate chaos, our favourite toxic duo—played by Grace Van Patten and Jackson White—is giving their “romance” another go during spring semester—and spoilers: it’s a disaster from the first bell. Based on Carola Lovering’s novel, the series remains a web of lies and whispered secrets that threaten to unravel. It is the ultimate guilty pleasure for anyone who enjoys watching beautiful people make catastrophically poor life choices in the name of love. It’s gaslighting, gatekeeping, and girlbossing at its most dysfunctional.
The Beauty
The mastermind behind Glee and American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy, is pivoting to sci-fi body horror, and frankly, we’re terrified in the best way possible. Imagine a world where a sexually transmitted virus makes you physically perfect—think snatched waists and poreless skin—but with truly terrifying consequences. As international supermodels start meeting gruesome ends, FBI agents race across Paris, Rome and New York to stop a shadowy billionaire’s trillion-dollar “beauty” empire. Starring the likes of Evan Peters and our own Vogue favourite Bella Hadid, it’s a biting, satirical look at the age of Ozempic and our obsession with unrealistic standards. It’s gore meets glamour—picture Hadid punching paparazzi and speeding through traffic on a motorbike.
Wonder Man
Marvel is finally poking fun at its own industry with Wonder Man, a series billed as a cheeky love letter to Hollywood. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars as Simon Williams, an actor desperately trying to land a role in a superhero flick within a world actually teeming with real superheroes. We’re particularly thrilled to see the return of Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery—the failed actor we all love to pity in Iron Man 3—and Succession’s Arian Moayed. With a creative team hailing from Shang-Chi and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, expect a meta-comedy that trades world-ending stakes for the far more perilous world of casting calls and ego-driven agents.
The Muppet Show: Special Event (4 Feb)
It’s time to play the music and turn up the lights, because the Muppets are turning fifty and they’ve invited the chicest guest stars to the party. The anniversary marks a return for our favourite Muppets: the ever-earnest Kermit the Frog, the sassy diva Miss Piggy, and the pun-loving Fozzie Bear. With guest appearances from the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Maya Rudolph, and Seth Rogen, expect a night of sophisticated chaos that will have you singing and laughing your heart out. It’s a pure, unadulterated nostalgia with a modern twist, proving that some icons never go out of style. Whether you’re here for the comedy, the musical numbers, or just to see Sabrina Carpenter share the stage with Kermit, we are obsessed with all of it.
Paradise: Season 2 (23 Feb)
Sterling K. Brown returns to the screen in a second season that promises to be more intense and emotional than the first. Set in a serene community inhabited by the world’s most powerful individuals, Paradise is a masterclass in the “mystery within a mystery” genre. Following the shocking events that shattered the town’s tranquillity, the new episodes lean into a mounting sense of dread and high-stakes investigation. This is a political thriller that keeps you glued to the screen with its tense atmosphere, emotional weight, and those signature unexpected twists that leave us gasping. If you enjoy a drama that feels like a chic pressure cooker—complete with a looming sense of existential crisis—this is your next essential binge.
Daredevil: Born Again: Season 2 (24 Mar)
It has been a decade since Charlie Cox first brought this iconic character to life, proving that some things simply never go out of style. After a much-celebrated resurrection into the MCU, the series returns for an eight-episode second season, doubling down on the darker, more grounded tone that feels refreshingly mature. For the uninitiated, the story follows Matt Murdock, a lawyer with heightened senses, as he navigates a world of corruption and complex morality. We are particularly thrilled by the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones in season 2—a sardonic, hard-hitting private investigator with superhuman strength. Seeing her team up with Matt adds a layer of sharp-witted intrigue to this production. It is gritty, intense, and proves that some heroes look best in the shadows.
The Testaments (8 Apr)
Brace yourselves, because we’re heading back to Gilead. Serving as the long-awaited sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale, this series focuses on a new generation of young women fighting for their autonomy. Anna Dowd returns as Aunt Lydia, who remains as formidable and complex as ever as she navigates the cracks in the regime’s foundation. Based on Margaret Atwood’s award-winning novel, the story follows three different perspectives as they uncover buried truths that could topple theocracy. It’s a heavy, dystopian, and undeniably captivating series that feels a little too relevant for comfort. It’s a must-watch this spring, even if you need to watch it through your fingers.
Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair (10 Apr)
Get ready to lean into pure nostalgia as the 2000s teen sitcom makes a comeback. Nearly twenty years after the original finale, Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair reunites our favourite dysfunctional family. This revival finds a grown-up Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) attempting to maintain his sanity while being pulled back into the chaotic orbit of his legendary parents. We are ready to see Bryan Cranston come full circle, trading the high-stakes intensity of Breaking Bad for the panicked, hilarious parenting of Hal once again. Expect the same sharp-witted, single-camera energy that reminds us why we fell in love with this beautifully frantic family in the first place.
Rivals: Season 2 (TBC)
The most risqué show on television is back, and we couldn’t be more excited. Based on Jilly Cooper’s iconic 1988 novel, the second series continues the fierce rivalry between David Tennant’s Lord Tony Baddingham and Alex Hassell’s Rupert Campbell-Black. As the battle for regional TV dominance heats up, so do the scandalous escapades and spectacular ‘80s perms set against the backdrop of the English countryside’s social elite. With new additions like Hayley Atwell and Rupert Everett joining the fray, expect plenty of backstabbing, champagne-soaked extravagance, and unapologetic nudity. It’s a riotous period drama blending social friction with flashy glamour, proving the British upper class will always be obsessed with power and, well, each other.
VisionQuest (TBC)

Following the “trilogy” started by WandaVision and Agatha All Along, Paul Bettany returns as our favorite super-powered android. This isn’t your standard superhero punch-up; it’s a deep dive into the soul of an AI, exploring the legacy of Vision and the return of the formidable Ultron. After a few skippable chapters in the MCU, this series feels like a return to the thoughtful storytelling and stunning visuals that made us fall in love with the franchise in the first place.
