新的一年永遠都叫人期待興奮，而其中的原因之一，便是墨西哥藝術家 Frida Kahlo 將會在芝加哥開設過去40年間最大型的展覽，名為《Frida Kahlo 2020》。

繼2018年在倫敦 V&A 博物館展出《Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up》之後，芝加哥 Cleve Carney Museum of Art 藝術館將會舉辦一場40年來最大型的墨西哥藝術家的作品展覽，《Frida Kahlo 2020》將會是具有紀念價值的重要里程碑。

藝術中心今次與 Museo Dolores Olmedo 合作，罕有地借出26件珍貴原創作品，涵蓋藝術家 Frida Kahlo 過去的職業生涯，包括改變她人生的意外及傷痛，還有與藝術家兼丈夫 Diego Rivera 的複雜愛情關係。也是因為 Frida 過去曾經在這樣的環境中成長、經歷的種種背後原因，使她成為20世紀時代中最重要、具有影響力的藝術家之一。據說這些珍稀作品將會觸及 Frida Kahlo 對痛苦、政治與愛情為主題的藝術演繹，展現出她不受疾病所限制的多樣化創作和對藝術的強烈熱情。
