Where To Celebrate Pride Month In Hong Kong And Macau

Film festivals, drag brunches, junk parties, and cultural showcases and more

Every June, Hong Kong and Macau celebrate Pride Month with a series of vibrant events honouring the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. This year’s lineup is particularly electric: think champagne-fueled brunches, late-night dance parties, and cultural events galore.

Eaton HK Pride 2026

Pride at Eaton 2026, titled “Re-membering – Touch Across Time,” is a two-month celebration at Eaton HK exploring queer memory, history, and belonging through art, performance, and community events. Running through June and July, the program takes inspiration from queer theorist Carolyn Dinshaw, focusing on how queer histories are preserved beyond traditional archives—through nightlife, zines, photos, and performance. Featuring exhibitions like Reading Night Club and Offline Memories, as well as workshops, screenings, and performances such as Queertopia: Evolution, the event brings together artists and activists from around the world. With participants ranging from Hong Kong and China to France and South Korea, Eaton HK becomes a living archive for queer creativity, connection, and remembrance.

4th Macao International Queer Film Festival

Showcasing 24 LGBTQ+ titles, the 4th Macao International Queer Film Festival (MIQFF) presents a curated selection designed to celebratequeer cinema. This year’s festival, titled “Queertopia!/?”, explores global narratives across time periods and personal histories. Featured highlights in this edition include Cyclone, Montreal, My Beautiful, and Rosebush Pruning.

The Pontiac is celebrating Pride with a dynamic programme of regional takeovers, masterclasses, and neighbourhood crawls. Expect everything from a margarita cocktail workshop and diva karaoke to a Rainbow Bar Crawl Run scheduled for June 19, 2026. This year marks a milestone as the event expands its scope, showcasing venues and bartenders from across the wider region.

Pride At Sea by Haus of Circuit

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Pride At Sea hosts its biggest junk party yet with DJs Dino and Gina spinning house, pop, and circuit beats. For HK$1,200, guests can enjoy a comprehensive Thai feast and unlimited beverages. The event features an “all-white” dress code paired with rainbow accents and grants attendees complimentary admission to the after-party at Club Dao.

G Force x Plastic Shanghai: Pride Month “Happy Together”
