為了巴黎國際當代藝術博覽會（FIAC），草間彌生帶上了南瓜充氣裝置藝術。因藝術而瘋狂，卻又因藝術而得到解脫。這種支撐點令到草間彌生在患有精神病後感嘆：「不是藝術，我可能活不下去。」她以密集的圓點、無邊際房間（infinity room）為名，這次她的南瓜充氣裝置藝術轉變為可以發光的形色，是草間彌生歷來最大的南瓜裝置藝術，名為 Life of the Pumpkin Recites, All About the Biggest Love for the People (2019)，讓巴黎的夜晚也有著當代藝術的氣氛。並由Victoria Miro、Ota Fine Arts 和 David Zwirner 畫廊共同代理，展覽於凡登廣場（Place Vendôme）。

這次 2019 年的巴黎國際當代藝術博覽會（FIAC ）為期四天（10月17 – 20號），將遍佈巴黎右岸各地（巴黎大皇宮、小皇宮、佩蒂特宮、溫斯頓教堂、香榭麗舍大道等）展示不同種類和媒介的藝術品。除了個人展外，還有與客座策展人 Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel 合作設計的「FIAC Projects」：FIAC 特意塔建了大街行人專用區，這個項目將大皇宮和小皇宮連接起來，讓1900年世界博覽會的原有廣場得以重建，並展示了大約三十個雕塑和裝置藝術。
