今年對所有人來說應該都是失望與計劃被打亂的一年，但Katy Perry卻在這變動不定的一年中做了兩個了不起的事，甚至可以說是雙喜臨門。與男友Orlando Bloom低調宣布了訂婚的消息，後在3月推出的歌曲 “Never Worn White” MV中驚喜宣佈懷孕的喜訊。

昨日Katy Perry和Orlando Bloom作為UNICEF大使透過平台宣佈女兒的誕生，更取名為Dasiy Dove Bloom，滿是嚮往自由、和平又積極的感覺，獲得各界的祝福。今日，Katy的第6張專輯《Smile》未受疫情及孕期孕影響，如期而至。不得不讓人感嘆女兒太會選日子， 來到世上與爸爸媽媽一起慶祝新碟。

原來在為新專輯部署宣傳時，Katy已經透露女兒的消息。單曲 “Daisies” 暗示女兒的名字，由Katy Perry、Jon Bellion （Eminem、Zedd）、The Monsters & Strangerz (Zedd, Halsey, Maroon 5)等人製作。Daisy即雛菊有著純潔、真誠、新生命的意義。

另一首心血之作是 “Harleys in Hawaii”，歌曲與之前編寫 “Small Talk” 的Charlie Puth、Johan Carlsson、Jacob Kasher再次合作，靈感來自與Orlando Bloom於夏威夷乘坐Harley-Davidson電單車的愉快經歷，超級甜蜜。
