少年劍神張家朗於東京奧運劍擊男子個人花劍獲得金牌佳續！為香港摘下今屆奧運首面獎牌，更創造了香港劍擊史上最佳成績。年僅24歲的他 已第二次出戰奧運，更是本屆東奧港隊持旗手代表！另外，何詩蓓在東京奧運 越戰越勇，在女子100米自由泳決賽以52.27秒 打破亞洲紀錄，繼200米自由泳摘銀後第二面獎牌。他們在頒獎台上流露的喜悅自然令人動容，但是他們在台上拿上的「勝利花束」同樣是亮點之一。
事實上，過去的奧運都有形形色色的色彩繽紛花束，不過2012倫敦奧運後，這些勝利花束就就沒有出現於奧運會之中，2016 里約奧運因為提倡綠色風潮，所以將利花束以奧運標誌的木雕品作替換，然而這次東京奧運則重新出現具有特色的勝利花束。

根據2020東京奧運官網所述，今次的勝利花束以鮮豔的色彩為基礎，選用了日本「311大地震」災害受創最深的福島、宮城、岩手三縣的花材，難得的是，主辦方希望透過今次奧運讓大眾展感受從挫折中站起的強韌生命力，同時令這些受災地區的重生力量傳播至全世界。

這些的花束中的花材取自福島縣的洋桔梗、竹芋，宮城縣的向日葵、岩手縣的龍膽、東京的葉蘭。值得一提的，是當中的向日葵，其實是宮城縣大川小學罹難兒童的父母，為了紀念自己離世的孩子們所栽種的植身，希望以綻放的向日葵象徵意孩子歡笑的笑容，意義非凡。
