不過能夠如此彪炳的藝術交易成績多虧藝術家趙無極的珍惜罕巨作:《22.6.63》及《24.10.63》兩幅是來自趙無極「狂草」頂峰時期的創作,當時的趙無極擁有熟練的中會繪畫技巧,融合西方美學和現代思維的藝術成為「狂草」時期。這兩幅畫作出自 Kootz Gallery ,從1963年創作到現在只轉手三次而已,在中間的57年來從未曝光過,也沒有在拍賣市場上出現,因此首度登場更顯機會難得。

最後值得一提的是,上週創下個人紀錄的加拿大華裔藝術家王俊傑 Matthew Wong,這位香港藝術家擁有極高的藝術天份,自學畫畫的他在2016年初次在紐約藝廊 Karma 辦畫展便引起史無前例地巨大迴響,一致獲得業界高度讚揚。作為一名多產的畫家王俊傑的畫作,極有造詣而不造作,同時以標誌性的野獸派顏色創作出多幅與自然風景的藝術畫作,因此2017年的《溫暖》拍賣以260萬港元成交刷新個人紀錄。可惜的是這位年輕的藝術家去年年底自殺身亡,終年僅有35歲。
