新冠肺炎的期間大家都在家工作，而設計師 Freyja Sewell 也不例外，她開始 Key Workers 的項目為了感謝前線的醫護人員，做到視覺上「道謝」的效果，因此這批口罩並非作個人防護的裝備，反而是根據政府8個主要工作部門，包括衛生、教育、公共服裝等設計出具有象徵性的鮮明口罩設計。

Public safety and national security ⚠️ This includes police and support staff, Ministry of Defence civilians, contractor and armed forces personnel (those critical to the delivery of key defence and national security outputs and essential to the response to the Covid-19 pandemic), fire and rescue service employees (including support staff), National Crime Agency staff, those maintaining border security, prison and probation staff and other national security roles, including those overseas. ? 每個口罩不光是外觀上顏色豔麗奪目，而充滿未來主義的對稱美學的口罩，不難看出其靈感更是來自於科幻電影或是電視如《Star Trek》。無庸置疑的是，口罩確實是2020最為標誌性、重要的視覺造型，從個人防護功能到具有英雄徽章的象徵，至少歷史記載著口罩拯救了這個時代的人。

Wanting to turn my spare evenings weekends and cancelled work time into something… I will be sharing a visual thank you to all the Key Workers out there still working hard to keep things running! ?? I kept hearing Key Workers mentioned, and wanted to know more about who these people are. There’s 8 groups, today’s group is: . ⚡️Utilities, communication and financial services⚡️ . This includes staff needed for essential financial services provision (including but not limited to workers in banks, building societies and financial market infrastructure), the oil, gas, electricity and water sectors (including sewerage), information technology and data infrastructure sector and primary industry supplies to continue during the Covid-19 response, as well as key staff working in the civil nuclear, chemicals, telecommunications (including but not limited to network operations, field engineering, call centre staff, IT and data infrastructure, 999 and 111 critical services), postal services and delivery, payments providers and waste disposal sectors. . Thank you everyone working in this field! 口罩的材料都是 Freyja Sewell 從家中隨手可得的材料，都是能夠被回收或是生物降解的物質，好比說象徵金融、通信的公用領域服務業的銀色面具設計，便使用家中找來的金屬絲製成，而胸前的裝飾設計則從舊式照明設備中的散熱器所製。

Freyja Sewell 在2011年畢業於布萊頓大學的立體設計學士，隨後獲得名古屋藝術大學的獎學金，便在東京居住及工作兩年，因此設計總是充滿中西文化的融合，難怪在代表食品工作人員的綠色口罩中，則注入了佛教中唐卡佛像靈感為設計。除了口罩之外，一直以來也喜歡探索多元化媒介進行探索，如家具、服裝、藝術等，打造出空間與設計的藝術設計。

This includes those working in prisons, probation, courts and tribunals staff, judiciary, religious staff, charities and workers delivering critical frontline services, those responsible for the management of the deceased, journalists and broadcasters covering coronavirus or providing public service broadcasting.
