MTV音樂錄影帶大獎得獎名單出爐！剛剛釋出新專輯《Lover》的Taylor Swift可謂是凱旋歸來，除了以12項提名領跑並抱得年度音樂錄影帶、最佳正能量音樂錄音帶及最佳視覺特效三個獎項，她更和閨蜜 Gigi Hadid、Bella Hadid相聚。身穿Versace出席紅毯的Taylor Swift霸氣全開，其後更以新歌《You Need To Calm Down》及《Lover》開場。
VMAS的紅毯向來以瘋狂及有趣出名，「姐妹花」Gigi Hadid與Bella Hadid分別選擇Tom Ford與Charlotte Knowles ，以兩種裸色胸衣造型走上紅毯，前衛卻不挑釁。
此外，以《Señorita》點燃新戀情的Camila Cabello 和 Shawn Mendes 也收穫了最佳合作歌曲，現場表演十分甜蜜，延續夏日最具話題情侶的稱號。

這次頒獎典禮更是Miley Cyrus與「雷神弟」Liam Hemsworth離婚後的首度公開表演，新曲《Slide Away》被Miley詮釋得淋漓盡致，亦被解讀為自剖離婚心聲。
更讓人意外的是Marc Jacobs成為首位贏得登月人的時裝設計師， Fashion Trailblazer Award為了獎勵設計師對音樂人的時裝造型做出貢獻及影響，熱衷流行文化且為無數音樂人設計出多個經典造型的他也是當之無愧，

Cardi B自然成為了最佳嘻哈音樂錄影帶的贏家，除了Taylor Swift斬獲三項獎項外，年度新星自然要數Billie Eilish ，未能出席頒獎典禮的她贏得包括最佳新人的三個獎項。年度歌手花落 Ariana Grande，而因一曲《Old Town Road》霸佔各大音樂榜首的Lil Nas X也贏得最佳歌曲，與Billie Eilish都是美國樂壇年輕力量的代表。
