Is there a celebrity more stylish than Zendaya right now? The actress has made a name for herself not only with her impressive acting chops, but with her impeccable sartorial choices as well. Whether she’s channeling Poison Ivy in a slinky green bustier dress for the Emmys or sporting a cropped hoodie and ripped jeans off-duty, Zendaya carries herself with an air of elegance and panache that doesn’t go unnoticed.

Zendaya’s immaculate fashion streak is all thanks to stylist Law Roach, who has dressed the star since 2011. The pair are partial to power suits in a myriad of textures and colours, from a more minimal black velvet ensemble to a bold, vinyl snake print rendition. Dresses are cinched at the waist or altogether figure-skimming, from Armani Privé’s exposed-back look for the premiere of Spider Man: Far From Home to the leather Balmain gown worn at the 2021 Venice Film Festival. They also never miss an opportunity to do a bit of method dressing. Her commitment to match the aesthetics and themes of her projects makes her the most exciting celebrity to watch on a red carpet. With four new movies coming out in 2026, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for the fantastic looks Zendaya brings to the carpet.

If we were to compile a list of iconic Met Gala looks, Zendaya would take several spots in that roster. The Joan of Arc armour in 2018 and her lit-up Cinderella dress in 2019 have gone down in Met Gala history as some of the most memorable appearances the event has ever seen.

So when she was named one of the co-chairs of the 2024 gala, Zendaya knew she had to show up and show out. She graced the steps of the Met with not one, but two John Galliano looks. The first, made for Maison Margiela, was a deep blue gown wrapped in tulle and fabric, with a dramatic headpiece to match. She walked out for a second time with a never-worn vintage Givenchy couture gown. The black, draping gown is from the house’s Spring/Summer 1996 collection, and Zendaya paired it with another over-the-top headpiece stuffed with flowers.

Zendaya took method dressing to the max for the world premiere of Dune: Part Two. She and Law pulled from Mugler’s archives for a truly futuristic look for the desert-themed event. The shimmering metal bodysuit is from their Autumn/Winter 1995 collection, and certainly fits in with the sci-fi world of Dune. The bodysuit features transparent panels all over her body and matching stilettos, and Zendaya went with Bulgari jewels to go with the look.

Zendaya didn’t stop the method dressing from there. For the first premiere of Challengers, she wore a glittering green dress designed by Jonathan Anderson for Loewe, who also curated the wardrobe for the movie. Because the movie focuses on the entangled relationships between three tennis players, it was only fitting that her dress had a tennis player hitting a tennis ball on it. Complete with a thigh-high slit, matching heels and a wavy bun, Zendaya was an unstoppable boss lady in that dress, much like her character Tashi in the film.

As we now know, Zendaya is a real student of fashion history, and is unafraid to reference iconic looks from the past and make it her own. At the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony, Zendaya inducted Cher and paid tribute to her fashion. She and Law turned to the singer’s favourite collaborator: Bob Mackie. The beaded, nude halter dress first appeared in Mackie’s 2001 couture collection, and its dramatic cutouts perfectly mimic Cher’s signature style from the ‘70s.

Zendaya has a really busy 2026 ahead of her: she will return for the third season of Euphoria, and star in highly anticipated movies like The Odyssey, Spider Man: Brand New Day and Dune: Part Three. Right now, she’s promoting The Drama with Robert Pattinson, which centers around a happily engaged couple. Their relationship is tested by a surprising revelation a week before their wedding.

Naturally for the press tour, Zendaya has been wearing dresses inspired by the old wedding rhyme: “something old, something new and something borrowed”. At the final premiere in New York, Zendaya wore “something blue”: a Schiaparelli couture dress from their Spring 2026 collection. The black gown is painted in hues of bright blue at the ends and bodice. To top it all off, Zendaya wore sapphire earrings from Tiffany & Co. and frosted blue eyeshadow.
