This month, I’m all about indulgent, stylish finds that balance practicality with a bit of drama—because why not? First up, Zara’s Soft Gathered Loafers. I always thought loafers were stiff and unapproachable, but these are soft, comfy, and so affordable it feels like cheating. Then there’s the VSP Atelier Ashley Sand Shearling Jacket, which leans into my dream of being a mafia wife (in style, not in crime). It’s plush, cosy, and that funnel neck when buttoned? On the luxury end, Officine Universelle Buly Baume Des Muses is the lip balm I didn’t know I needed. Someone once said that if you fall in love with something while travelling overseas, you should always buy it because you’ll never stop thinking about it otherwise. And goddamnit were they right. The Vogue Hong Kong team was in Bangkok for a weekend earlier this month, so of course we hit up fashion insider favourite, Loft Eyes. There, I laid eyes on Ciclo’s Kaia Top in midnight blue and internally broke down when the sales assistant said they had sold out of my size. It’s been hard to move on knowing what a perfect outfit it would be paired with KkCo’s Plaid Peak nylon skirt—a gorpcore enthusiast’s wet, sorry in this case, water-repellent dream. At Marni, Merryl Rogge became one of only three women assuming a creative director role at a major fashion house during the recent fashion shakeup, and she’s introduced an adorable shoulder bag inspired by the shape of a tulip. Speaking of power moves, imagine pulling out a personal portable printer when you want photos for journaling. Self-sufficient queen.
