Ariana Grande has been stepping back into her acting shoes lately. She dazzled the big screen as Glinda in the film adaptations of Wicked, and even bubble-landed an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Later this year, she will star alongside Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller in the comedy film Focker-in-Law, the fourth installment of the Focker film series. Not to mention she’s set to make her London stage debut in summer 2027 in Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George, opposite her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.
But in the meantime, Grande has returned to her pop star form: she kicked off The Eternal Sunshine Tour in Oakland on June 6. The tour has quickly established itself as the cultural moment of the summer—marking Grande’s first major outing since The Sweetener World Tour concluded in 2019. It’s good to see her, isn’t it?
Beyond the viral moments of vocal virtuosity and her now-iconic levitation finale, Grande’s tour wardrobe has become a phenomenon in its own right. Collaborating once again with stylist Law Roach, Grande presents six meticulously crafted looks across the production’s five acts. Roach’s curation strikes a delicate balance—each ballerina-inspired ensemble serves the cinematic narrative of the eternal sunshine era while paying homage to iconic moments from Grande’s fashion evolution. The result is both a visual feast and a love letter to the singer’s journey.
Act I
Grande makes her entrance in a striking custom black lace mini dress by Ludovic de Saint Serin, paired with a Catwoman mask—a clever nod to “the boy is mine” music video—and Christian Louboutin ballet-style boots. The opening act showcases her chart-toppers, kicking off with the infectious “yes, and?” and “positions”.

The second act opens with the title track “eternal sunshine,” as Grande emerges in a showstopping pink fringed Alexander McQueen creation. Designed by creative director Seán McGirr, the piece cleverly references the thank u, next era while its deconstructed fringe adds an edge that moves beautifully as she performs “thank u, next” and “7 rings.”

The fourth act reveals Grande in custom purple Vivienne Westwood. The off-shoulder silhouette features intricate black lace detailing, complemented by sheer gloves, Louboutin boots, and a ribbon choker. Here, she weaves together deluxe tracks from eternal sunshine—”twilight zone” and “hampstead”—with beloved classics like “Dangerous Woman” and “Honeymoon Avenue”.
Act V
For the finale, Grande pulls out all the stops in black couture Givenchy by Sarah Burton, its silver embroidery catching the light as she delivers “Into You,” “we can’t be friends (wait for your love),” and “hate that i made you love me,” the lead single from her forthcoming album petal.
But Grande has one more trick, and one more dress, up her sleeve. Grande reappears in another Givenchy creation—an ethereal white floral maxi that seems to float around her as she ascends above the arena during a transcendent performance of “supernatural.”
