Whether they were the “endgame” couple we rooted for or the ones who sparked a thousand memes, the stars of Single’s Inferno are naturals at staying in the spotlight long after the final campfire. While we’re currently obsessing over which Season 5 couples actually made it in the real world, it’s time to check back in with the OGs. From Season 1 through to Season 4, we’re catching up with the islanders who survived the hottest place on earth to see what they’re up to.
Season 1
Song Ji-a
Once the it girl of Single’s Inferno, Ji-a took a hiatus following a controversy regarding the fake luxury items she wore on and off the show. However, she has since managed a steady comeback. Now a prominent lifestyle content creator, she has amassed hundreds of thousands of subscribers on Youtube, where she shares travel vlogs, “Get Ready With Me” videos, and unboxing content. Honestly, her ability to pivot back into our feeds is the kind of character arc we live for.
Kim Hyun-joong
The fitness enthusiast who escaped the Inferno with Ji-a has successfully turned his passion for wellness into a career. Between launching his own fitness hub, Mood Gym, and a dedicated skincare line, Abits, Hyun-joong has truly entered his entrepreneur era. When he isn’t managing his ventures, he’s active on Instagram, serving up a mix of gym progress and stylish fits.
Kang So-yeon
So-yeon is still the ultimate multi-hyphenate athlete of the franchise, and we’re convinced she has more hours in her day than the rest of us. In 2022, she made her long-awaited return to the music industry with the single “Loca Loca”—a nod to her origins as a K-pop idol in the co-ed group WE. She showcased her athleticism once again in 2024 as a contestant on Physical:100 Season 2, and continues to compete in professional amateur golf tournaments alongside football and tennis. Beyond her personal training, she has successfully moved into business as the founder of the boxing gym HitFit Boxing.
Choi Si-hun
Si-hun has traded the island’s drama for scripted sets, notably starring in the Apple TV+ workplace drama The New Employee. His personal life also made headlines in early 2025 when he married singer-songwriter Ailee. We are still quite obsessed with the photoshoot they did to mark the occasion, which naturally featured their puppies.
Cha Hyun-seung
The dancer-turned-actor has had a whirlwind year that puts everything into perspective. After appearing in Physical: 100 and the film No Mercy, Hyun-seung faced a major health battle following a sudden diagnosis of acute leukaemia in late 2025. In a move that gave us all a collective sigh of relief, he announced his full remission by December. We’re all wishing him a smooth recovery and hoping he gets back to his freediving and surfing adventures soon.
Moon Se-hoon
If you thought Se-hoon was persistent on the island, his professional drive is even more intense. He’s currently building a hospitality empire that includes Moonbo Hotpot, Onlygo&Co, and the BAY Korean BBQ Club. Not content with just the dining scene, his ventures extend to a florist shop, Flcha Sinsa, and his own brands of Makgeolli and Kimchi. Between managing his growing portfolio and posting his adorable dog on Instagram, he has also returned to the dating show circuit as a guest on 60 Minutes to Love. He’s booked, busy, and remarkably well-fed.
Season 2
Kim Jin-Young (Dex)
Arguably the most successful breakout star of the franchise, Dex has successfully transitioned from a career in the military to a versatile entertainer. He’s now a familiar face on the Single’s Inferno panel, where his witty, insider perspective adds a unique layer to the commentary. His acting CV is growing rapidly, with roles in Netflix’s Zombieverse, the survival show Bloody Game, and the action drama The Defects. When he isn’t on a film set, he is likely uploading lifestyle content to his YouTube channel for his dedicated subscribers.
Nadine Lee
As the first Korean-American on the show, Nadine brought a fresh perspective and distinctive charm to the show, adding something the series didn’t even know it was missing. She’s a total academic weapon, having graduated from Harvard in 2023, with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Computer Science—a combination that makes our head spin just thinking about it. Whilst she was famously a pre-med student on Single’s Inferno, she has since evolved into a corporate weapon, working as an analyst at a consulting firm focused on healthcare strategy. When she isn’t navigating the high-stakes industry, she regularly shares outfit and lifestyle updates with her followers. It’s a classic case of beauty and brains, though her puppy Zobby arguably still steals the show on Instagram.
Shin Seul-ki
After graduating from Seoul National University with a degree in piano, Seul-ki decided to swap the concert hall for the screen—and the pivot paid off. She made a notable debut in the psychological thriller Pyramid Game and has since starred in the historical fantasy The Haunted Palace. Her KBS Drama Award for Best New Actress and an SBS Drama Award for Best Supporting Actress are official testaments to her talent. Between filming schedules, she has been frequently spotted at Dior events.
Choi Jong-woo
Jong-woo has seamlessly continued his reality TV streak since leaving the island. He’s been spotted trading the beach for the pitch, making appearances for the celebrity football team Lion Hearts FC for the show Let’s Play Soccer, and even popped up on the matchmaking series 60 Minutes to Love. He has also dabbled in acting, making his debut in the short-form drama Time Running. Between takes, he keeps his YouTube subscribers updated with travel vlogs while his Instagram remains a go-to for consistent outfit checks.
Choi Seo-eun
Seo-eun is the definition of “doing the most” in the best possible way. She’s recently been busy expanding her resume into the world of acting with roles in the Amazon Prime spy thriller Butterfly and the suspenseful K-drama The Manipulated. Stepping off the screen and onto the stage, she even made her theatrical debut in October 2025 at the Daehak-ro Theater Joy Seoul. When she isn’t busy performing, she’s serving up aesthetically pleasing mukbangs and outfit inspiration.
Season 3
Choi Hye-seon (Hazel)
Hazel traded the Inferno heat for the “50 shades of grey” British weather, graduating from the University of Durham in 2025 with a Master’s in data science, bioinformatics and biological modelling under her belt— another girl boss in STEM. Now a London-based data scientist consultant, she’s successfully romanticising corporate life through her YouTube channel, where she documents her life through travel vlogs and city adventures. And for those who missed her competitive streak, she recently appeared in the high-stakes survival series in Game of Blood Season 3.
Lee Gwan-hee
The man who practically turned Season 3 into his own personal rom-com is very much still in the game. When he isn’t busy on the court playing for Wonju DB Promy, he’s putting his chaotic charisma to good use as a host on the matchmaking show Date My Friend. Honestly, Gwan-hee giving relationship advice is the level of irony we didn’t know we needed, and we are absolutely seated for it.
Kim Gyu-ri
Since leaving the island, Gyu-ri has been busy curating a digital presence as a lifestyle influencer. Over on her YouTube channel, she treats fans to a behind-the-scenes look at her life, while her Instagram is a blend of food reels and outfit inspiration.
Yun Ha-jeong
Ha-jeong, our queen of the “chin-down” gaze (if you know, you definitely know) has officially entered her lifestyle influencer era. Her YouTube channel has become a fan-favourite hub for travel vlogs and her refreshingly honest reactions to the latest seasons of Single’s Inferno. On Instagram, she continues to serve up curated outfit inspiration. We’re still waiting for her to drop a tutorial on that iconic head tilt, though.
Park Min-kyu
The former coast guard officer has officially hung up his uniform to help others to run a physical training academy specifically designed for those brave enough to prepare for special forces and SWAT team training. When Min-kyu isn’t busy whipping recruits into shape, he’s busy modelling for the whisky brand Jameson—a quite fitting partnership, as we’d imagine you need a drink after a day of SWAT training.
Season 4
Lee Si-an
Since leaving the island, Si-an has fully embraced her role as a fashion and beauty influencer, keeping her followers inspired with a curated feed of luxury beauty products and chic outfits. Over on her YouTube channel, she’s built a loyal community through a mix of candid travel vlogs, shopping halls, and the occasional—and highly anticipated—reaction video to her own Single’s Inferno episodes.
Yuk Jun-seo
Jun-seo has debuted a total “new year, new me” look, swapping his iconic long locks for a sharp, short haircut. He’s been exploring both the boxing ring and the screen, appearing in the K-drama ONE: High School Heroes and competing in the boxing survival show I Am Boxer. Despite his time in front of the camera, he remains dedicated to his career as a visual artist; he recently hosted his first solo exhibition, “Cranium”, at the Geumho Albert cultural space and consistently shares his latest work on his dedicated art account. Meanwhile, his YouTube channel is reserved for the lifestyle content we crave, featuring vlogs and those essential reaction videos to his own Single’s Inferno episodes. We love a man who can handle a boxing ring and a canvas with the same effortless precision.
Jang Tae-oh (Theo Jang)
After establishing himself as the season’s most devoted romantic, Theo has been busy manifesting his Hollywood dreams. His acting portfolio is expanding rapidly; following his lead role in the Korean-Philippine rom-com Finding Santos, he is set to star in another rom-com, Pillow Armour, and the highly anticipated Hollywood thriller, The Blowout. When he isn’t on a film set, he’s likely front row at Milan or Seoul Fashion Week. Between filming, he maintains a busy schedule as an influencer, keeping his followers updated with his new projects and travels. Theo is officially trading the Inferno for the international stage—and we’re just along for the ride.
Bae Ji-yeon
While Ji-yeon continues to work as a spatial designer, she is frequently seen fronting campaigns for major fashion and makeup labels as a professional model. Her Instagram is essentially a masterclass in aesthetic curation, blending professional behind-the-scenes glimpses with a personal style that makes “effortless” look like a full-time job.
Kook Dong-ho
Dong-ho is living proof that a finance-savvy mindset and a sharp sense of style can be the ultimate power pairing. While he has been busy making front-row appearances at Fashion Weeks in both Seoul and Milan he remains committed to his corporate roots. He uses his platform to offer accounting and financial advice through dedicated Instagram content and lecture series—so if you’re looking to impress your crush at J. P. Morgan, look no further.
Kim A-rin
A-rin has well and truly entered her influencer era. Her Instagram feed is a curated blend of polished style and travel content, while her YouTube channel is a relatable mix of aesthetic “Get Ready With Me”s, and the internet’s favourite pastime: reacting to the latest Single’s Inferno seasons.
