The Dior darlings did not come to play! A symphony of Dior designs from the past and present graced the 2025 Governors Awards — a celebration of the most extraordinary talents in cinema and the state of motion picture arts and sciences. This year’s Honorary Oscars were awarded to Tom Cruise, Debbie Allen, and Wynn Thomas, while Dolly Parton received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her philanthropic efforts.
Styled by Law Roach, Ariana Grande glowed in a John Galliano–era Dior Fall 2007 gown in soft “Glinda” pink. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence and Frankenstein’s Mia Goth dazzled in designs by Dior’s latest Creative Director, Jonathan Anderson.
Other spectacular looks include Anya Taylor-Joy in an otherworldly Maison Margiela couture gown, Cynthia Erivo in Givenchy florals, and Elle Fanning in custom Gucci.
