This year’s Hong Kong Film Awards were a little different. Besides the usual suspects, a new category was introduced: Best Dressed!

Louise Wong, a previous Best New Performer awardee and two-time Best Actress nominee, judged the awards. At the Vogue Hong Kong red carpet booth, she expressed excitement about seeing the sartorial choices by her fellow industry creatives. Wong certainly served one of the most memorable looks of the night—an embellished sand-coloured dress by Saudi Arabian brand Waad Aloqalli. She carried the sparkle into her jewellery from Chow Tai Fook and watch from Omega.

Ultimately, Wong awarded Best Dressed to actors Fala Chen and Lo Chun Yip. The former glimmered in an iridescent dress from the Chanel Spring/Summer 2023 collection, while Lo donned a custom Demo look featuring a white satin train that draped from his blazer to the floor.
