第76屆英國電影學院獎（BAFTAs）落下帷幕，帶領觀眾回顧過去一年的影壇盛況。今年最大贏家為 Netflix出品《All Quiet on the Western Front》，共計收穫14項提名並最終奪下包括「最佳影片」在內的7項大獎。黑色悲喜劇電影《伊尼舍林的女妖 The Banshees of Inisherin》緊隨其後，也獲4項大獎。而去年名噪一時的貓王紀錄片《Elvis》今次也獲得4項大獎，當中主演 Austin Butler 更拿下「最佳男主角」殊榮。

「最佳女主角」則由《 Tár》主演 Cate Blanchett 奪得，這也是她第五次獲得這一獎項。與她同場競爭的還有《Everything Everywhere All at Once》Michelle Yeoh 楊紫瓊以及在紀錄片中飾演Marilyn Monroe的Ana de Armas。
因主演Netflix劇集《性愛自修室》而走紅的英國女星Emma Mackey，今次也憑藉出演傳記劇情片《Emily》而獲得EE Rising Star新人獎。隨後她也將與Margot Robbie一同出演芭比真人電影《Barbie》，逐漸打開自己的戲路。

BAFTAs 2023：舉辦地點？
BAFTAs在過去六年間都在Royal Albert Hall舉辦，然而今年的頒獎典禮將轉移至新場所舉辦——位於南岸中心的Royal Festival Hall，將領這第76屆般將典禮成為「最具野心，也最便利的夜晚。」
BAFTAs 2023：有哪些不同？
據悉，今次頒獎典禮將採用與以往不同的形式，並在當晚結束前宣布最後四大獎項——最佳男演員、最佳女演員、最佳導演和最佳影片——的獲獎者。（過去BAFTAs頒獎典禮都是在當晚預錄製好並延遲播出。）主辦方補充解釋道 ：「當晚觀眾將在兩位主持人的帶領下，從台前到幕後，獲得360度全方位的觀賞體驗，包括與古往今來獲獎者、提名者以及頒獎者的採訪。」
BAFTAs 2023：誰在當晚表演？
一份官方聲明中指出：「繼去年Dame Shirley Bassey以60年代James Bond為靈感的成功演出，整晚的音樂表演將由音樂新人、以及樂壇傳奇共同呈現。」
BAFTAs 2023：凱特王妃出席晚會
威廉王子和凱特王妃一向有出席BAFTAs頒獎典禮的傳統，雖然去年雙雙缺席，由威廉王子事先錄製的一條片段代替。今年兩人親身亮相，凱特王妃身穿 Alexander McQueen 白色禮服——這是她在2019年出席此獎項時，身穿的同一套禮服的改良款。
