Launching in March 2019, Vogue Hong Kong is the 25th international edition and will fill a gap for premium, authoritative content on fashion, beauty and lifestyle in both Chinese (print and online) and English (online only).

Vogue Hong Kong’s parent company Condé Nast is a global media company with a portfolio that includes some of the world’s most respected and influential titles including Vogue, GQ, The New Yorker, Pitchfork, and Wired.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Fashion Editor, the Assistant Digital Editor (Fashion) will:

  • Write engaging, on-brand content (editorial and commercial) in traditional Chinese for Vogue Hong Kong’s website (voguehk.com) and social media channels
  • Research news, trends and products for editorial content and pitch story ideas
  • Assist in photo shoots, video shoots, styling and production
  • Source images and upload articles to website CMS (WordPress)
  • Ability to translate from English to traditional Chinese is a plus

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media or related subjects (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent writing skills in traditional Chinese.
  • A strong knowledge and interest in fashion.
  • A team player who can perform under deadline pressure.
