從1988年的《危險少年3》開始到2019的《假面酒店》，整個平成時代可說是屬於木村拓哉的黃金時代，三十年來他一直穩坐日本第一男星地位，時尚風格影響整個亞洲，帶動一個又一個潮流：Bape啡色羽絨、Red Wings皮靴、勞力士explorer I 369、Number(N)ine、Dior Homme by Hedi Slimane （tuxedo襯牛仔褲）、中長男生髮型、Vintage 牛仔褲、Ray Ban太陽鏡、《悠長假期》裡的彈彈球和《戀愛世紀》的Tiffany水晶蘋果……

前年《無限之住人》在康城首映時，曾被認為是衰老崩壞。但像張愛玲寫的白流蘇「他們以為她這一輩子已經完了麼？早哩」。幾個月之後，他就再度回勇，與竇靖童合拍的Levi’s 廣告片，成為全城熱話，流麗自然的舞姿令人難以相信他已年屆46。

木村的美也是不分男女的，1997年香港主權移交之前，他曾與攝影師橫須賀功光到香港的邵氏片場拍攝寫真集，更扮成清裝皇后，比女生更嬌媚。他的另一個重要的fashion moment是2005年《2046》的康城首映上，與梁朝偉、劉嘉玲等巨星一同行紅地毯，令今仍是亞洲明星在紅地毯上的最美麗時刻。

相信在令和時代，木村肯定還會繼續紅下去一段不短的日子。
