2019 Met Gala造型背後的文化啟發由「埃及艷后」Elizabeth Taylor到當代Barbie,他們能超越經典嗎?

今年的Met Gala主題 “Camp:Notes on Fashion”考起了一眾明星,測試他們對Camp的理解。許多明星以人為、華麗、誇大來演繹,有些以幽默和顛覆來回應。不過,有些最為驚艷向“Camp”致敬的裝扮卻被形容策劃人Andrew Bolton形容為「那個主意並沒有什麼原創性」。

確實,這個評論正是指許多出眾的造型都是出自於一些Camp風格的經典人物,或是Camp歷史中的具體時刻。例如Celine Dion化身為Ziegfeld Girl中的Judy Garland; Gemma Chan的造型像極了Boom! 中的Elizabeth Taylor;Ciara向Studio 54 Days的。 有著出眾妝髮的Lily Collins原來是模仿了Priscilla Presley的結婚造型; Kim Kardashian讓我們想起了1957年電影Boy on a Dolphin的 Sophia Loren。 Emily Ratajkowski混合了兩套經典的Cher裝扮。
