因此 Green Carpet 的重要性甚至喚起了今年英國影藝學院頒獎典禮 BAFTAs 推動可持續性紅地毯手冊指引,為紅地毯活動徹底減碳。 作為威尼斯影展的評委會主席 Cate Blanchett 便率先樹立可持續性時尚的典範,重新穿上在2015年出席BFI倫敦電影節的《Carol》首映禮服裝,魅力依然絲毫不減。

Sarah Burton 為 Cate Blanchett 設計出不對稱的刺繡藍色茉莉花的羽毛晚裝,5年後的今日卻把羽毛裙擺換成了幹練俐落的黑色西褲。不要以為紅地毯服裝的意義止步於此, Cate Blanchett 將上衣捐贈給 Red Carpet Advocacy RCA 進行慈善拍賣,100%的收益會捐贈給 UN Women 和 Facing History and Ourselves 機構。
