經過數日的預告，BLACKPINK宣布4月5日回歸的新單曲《Kill This Love》吊足了大家的胃口。不出所料，自昨晚發佈至今，12小時已在Youtube上有超過2500萬播放量。作為當今全球範圍內最受歡迎的韓國女團，上一首單曲《Ddu-Du Ddu-Du》的音樂視頻便維持了Youtube最多觀看的韓國組合音樂視頻紀錄。

YG Entertainment旗下的韓國組合每每以色彩濃郁的美術指導，堪比電影製作的場景讓人看得眼花繚亂。這次回歸的《Kill This Love》由BLACKPINK出道以來一直合作的王牌製作人Teddy操刀，音樂視頻由Hyun Seung Seo指導，舞蹈方面更是一舉邀來 4 位編舞家參與，讓視覺效果的強度甚至大於單曲本身的強勁音樂節奏。

作為回歸的第一彈，除了四位成員的舞步和充滿殺氣的眼神，最大看點少不了是其中的服裝造型。BLACKPINK無論在服裝、妝容或是髮色上的用色都更為深沈和濃郁，本來就受各大品牌青睞的每個成員服裝囊括由Chanel、Celine、Alexander McQueen、Versace春夏系列以至最被看好的新晉設計師之一的Marine Serre，讓BLACKPINK少了絲甜美。再加上數個浮誇場景如雅典廢墟或巨型狩獵陷阱夾，給人帶來多了份來勢洶洶的壓迫感。
