在整個1950年代，Audrey Hepburn都將這種髮型作為自己的標誌性造型，而且示範了其個性、新鮮、代表脫胎換骨的魅力。引來了當時所有女性的大力追捧，紛紛鼓起勇氣剪去長髮，十分前衛。

pixie cut來到亞洲明星的造型中又有著別樣的韻味，不得不提天后王菲標誌性的短髮，很多電影中及演唱會的經典造型都是選擇了pixie cut，最能襯托其脫俗的氣質。同樣的，人稱周公子的中國知名演員周迅也是留短髮時最能凸顯其精靈氣質；還有近年出演過不少佳作的台灣演員郭采潔，也是少數能將短髮變成只屬於自己風格的女星之一。
