自從三月份因為疫情緣故閉館以來，經過五個半月與疫情對抗的日子後，世上最著名的博物館之一紐約大都會博物館（The Met）終於在上週六（8月29日）重開。博物館外牆貼上了日裔美籍多媒體藝術家Yoko Ono設計的兩個橫幅，分別寫上「DREAM」和「TOGETHER」，預示着一個城市正在好轉，回到某種常態上。

這次對外開放有人流控制，需要網上預約及戴上口罩，場內有專人量度體溫，四處亦有消毒酒精。開館首日就已經有不少到訪者，甚至排隊在門外面等待入場。而 The Met 官方帳號也捕捉了大家興奮入場參觀的瞬間。

天台有來自墨西哥藝術家Hector Zamora的裝置藝術《Lattice Detour》，超過100英尺的半圓形設鏤空設計，光線從中穿梭，將展出至今年12月7日。

久別就是為了重逢，不過，若此時此刻不在紐約，還能觀賞 The Met 準備的多個影片。另外，The Met 還開展了一個繪圖 hashtag #MetSketch 活動，邀請不論是能到訪博物館，還是只能在家觀看博物館所提供的相關視頻之人，大家一起畫下博物館場景。
