Launching in March 2019, Vogue Hong Kong is the 25th international edition and will fill a gap for premium, authoritative content on fashion, beauty and lifestyle in both Chinese (print and online) and English (online only).

Vogue Hong Kong’s parent company Condé Nast is a global media company with a portfolio that includes some of the world’s most respected and influential titles including Vogue, GQ, The New Yorker, Pitchfork, and Wired.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, on-brand content including reactive news, coverage of fashion trends and runway shows, evergreen SEO articles, editorials and opinion pieces.
  • Create native Facebook and Instagram content for social media channels.
  • Oversee editorial calendars for website and social media. Plan and generate story ideas for all website sections.
  • Assign and edit content by editorial staff, contributors and freelancers.
  • Oversee production schedules and budget for Chinese digital editorial team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media or related subjects (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in traditional Chinese.
  • A strong knowledge of and interest in fashion, beauty and culture.
  • A team player who can perform under deadline pressure.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of social media and website traffic growth strategies is an advantage.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Digital Editor.
