We came to Antelope Canyon to give our minds a break from the online world and to experience a different kind of nature – sandy and dry! Little did we know just how breathtaking it would be. Coming to Arizona once a year gives me new inspiration every time. Being somewhere new and natural motivates me to try and create something new and beautiful myself. Here’s my mini travel guide to some Arizona must-sees.

Upper Antelope Canyon

Known as the place “where water runs through the rocks,” the Upper Canyon is best seen while the sunlight is gentle enough to reflect its smooth orange and yellow undertones.

Lower Antelope Canyon

Visit these “spiral rock arches” when the sun is directly above them, allowing light to pierce through and reflect a variety of beautiful colours.

Horseshoe Bend

Stop by this iconic location just north of the Grand Canyon to see why it’s one of the most photographed areas along the Colorado River.

Bryce Canyon

This national park has an unbelievable view that overlooks a seemingly infinite number of towering spires.

Monument Valley

Come for the best view of these timeless red sandstone hills.

Other places to explore

Rainbow Bridge: This national monument is one of the world’s largest known natural bridges that can only be reached by hiking or by boat. It’s so worth the trip.

Lake Powell: Rent a boat or kayak to enjoy a little adventure and some lovely sights along Lake Powell’s almost 2,000 miles of shoreline.

Glen Canyon Dam: Find incredible views any time of the day atop the dam’s 710-foot-high bridge over the powerful Colorado River.
