Pacific Place, Central
Located in Admiralty, Pacific Place houses four shimmering floors of fashion and lifestyle stores, as well as hotels The Conrad, Island Shangri-La, JW Marriott and The Upper House. Aside from coming here to shop, we recommend the plush AMC cinema, where a well-stocked bar and ridiculously comfortable boutique screening rooms offer a luxurious experience. This is a mall for foodies too, with restaurants including Madame Ching, Lumi, Hawkr and Shake Shack based here.
Landmark, Central
The centrally-located Landmark spans four interconnected buildings – Alexandra, Atrium, Chater and Prince’s. It’s the place to shop the best of the luxury brands, from fashion and beauty to art, food and wine, with a Harvey Nichols concession here too. Shopping aside, there’s a Mandarin Oriental hotel and spa, and a healthy number of Michelin-starred restaurants, including L’ATELIER de Joel Robuchon and Peking Garden.
Harbour City, Kowloon
Located on Victoria Harbour, with its own Star Ferry Pier, Harbour City is one of the biggest shopping malls in Hong Kong and houses hundreds of international fashion and lifestyle brands. As well as a varied restaurant offering, the mall has its own gallery showcasing regular exhibitions.
IFC, Central
Conveniently located next to Hong Kong Station and on the Central-Mid-Levels escalators, IFC features a mix of luxury brands along with the more affordable. The mall’s coffee shops and restaurants, including those in the Four Seasons Hotel – some with sprawling views out over the harbour – offer something for everyone, and there’s a cinema too.
Lee Gardens, Causeway Bay
Situated throughout the city’s famed shopping district of Causeway Bay, Lee Gardens spans Lee Theatre, Hysan Place, Leighton and Lee Garden One to Six. From luxury fashion brands in Lee Garden One to one-off dining destinations like John Anthony in Lee Garden Three, this is one of Hong Kong’s most exciting shopping hubs.
Elements, Kowloon
Consisting of five shopping areas inspired by the five elements of traditional Chinese culture – metal, wood, fire, earth and water – Elements is located in Kowloon’s Tsim Sha Tsui district. Big name luxury brands rub shoulders with high street stores, with a PREMIERE cinema and ice rink housed here also.
Sogo, Causeway Bay
This Japanese department store houses its fair share of luxury fashion brands – Celine, Prada and Chanel amongst others – but it’s the many beauty concessions and Japanese food outlets – namely Sogo Freshmart – that make it such a popular shopping destination.
