For starters, the Benedetta Bruzziches Belle De Jour Clutch Bag has been on my radar for ages, but I’ve always been drawn to the dark brown suede. Enter the butter yellow—an industry-planted obsession? Maybe. On a more practical note, Tumi Agent Medium Tote is a press-preview find that truly gets me. More pockets than my boyfriend? Check. Sleek leather with a zip, lock, and a luggage sleeve to secure it atop my carry-on? Also check. This bag screams “functional chic,” and just thinking about it makes my upcoming Fashion Week trek feel a little less chaotic. Then there’s Shevoke’s Zulu Brown Polarised Sunglasses, which haunt my Instagram stories daily. Shoutout to my cookies, which also recommended me the  Dr Jart+ Cicapair™ Soothing Colour Correcting Treatment SPF30. And well, the Max & Co. x Pietro Terzini blazer simply speaks to my mood this September: I hope your email never finds me. Never.

I’m no beauty guru, but imagine my shock when I found out that the setting spray I’d been using for years was, in fact, not a setting spray.  I’ve been humbled and corrected yet again by an online beauty creator and have swiftly added Patrick Starr’s well reviewed option to my shopping list. Other items that I should have owned by now include a pair of loafers and a hooded all-weather jacket to end the constant victimisation of my own head whenever it rains. I may be cheating with the Birkenstock Naples and Sandy Liang Siena pullover seeing that the former is still a slipper and the latter isn’t actually waterproof, but it’s a step and a half in the right direction!

This list might have started out rather practical but there’s definitely a shift happening right about now. I own many a tote bag but aha, a reusable shopping bag I do not. BAGGU’s latest collaboration with British designer Molly Goddard features a charming Baby Baggu with 360° ruffles and a print reminiscent of childhood storybooks. Lo’ and behold it has since moved off the wishlist and into my closet. Finally, an item that will surely be on the list for a long time is the Nyota Love is Armor Figurine from POPMART. As a longtime POPMART collector and Nyota’s self-proclaimed twin flame, I feel personally attacked that this dropped exclusively at the San Diego Comic Con. I have seen whispers of a future release on a Reddit forum, so I can only hope that the Redditors are right (as they usually are) and that my wallet will be ready.

And the category is: yearning. All the things I deeply wish to have but don’t because they are way too expensive or simply no longer exist! We start the list with a T-shirt by the ultimate dream girl, Amelia Dimoldenberg, who turned her CSM Fashion Journalism degree into a career eating chicken nuggets and interviewing people. Dream. Dimoldenberg’s collaboration with Peachy Den instantly seized the wallets of her millions of followers, and her “flirt” shirt was sold out the day it dropped. What makes my heart drop, though, is Heart Lamp, specifically its price. A collection of short stories by Indian writer Banu Mushtaqhe, the book won the International Booker Prize 2025. At first, Hong Kong bookstores did not stock Heart Lamp, but now they want to sell it for HK$210. Make knowledge more accessible, please.

On that note, I’m begging for Chanel’s CC Cream to be available again. For the past eight years, I’ve returned to this product time and time again, especially because it’s drawn the most compliments on the smoothness and glassiness of my skin. It’s completely sold out in Hong Kong with no stock date in sight. Beauty Gods, I take this as a sign that you hate me. On the other hand, just one video of an influencer wearing these sunglasses (while ranting) has placed these Prada Symbole sunglasses at the top of my wishlist; they’re just so effortlessly cool. I’ve realised that toning up is everything but effortless, and turns out 50 ClassPass credits don’t come close to what I need. (Shoutout to DEFIN8 Fitness—one Body Pump class and I’m hooked).
