Chanel Horlogerie has just debuted Chanel Electro, its newest collection of chic timepieces that reference the incomparable energy of electronic music in the 1990s. Four of the Parisian maison’s most iconic watches – Première, J12, Boy·Friend and Code Coco – are reinvented in intense black, white and fluorescent hues to echo the sights, sounds and vibrancy of the nightlife from this unforgettable era.
Director of Chanel’s Watchmaking Creation Studio, Arnaud Chastaingt, explains, “I conceived this capsule collection like a performance program, inviting our classics, the Première, J12, Boy·Friend and Code Coco, to perform side by side on this stage, drawing their inspiration from the codes of this world”.

Première Electro
Chanel’s Première Electro features a black-lacquered dial with the luxury house’s logo in neon pink and a triple-row steel chain bracelet interlaced with a multicoloured leather strap. Once you slip it on you won’t want to take it off.

Topping our wishlist is Chanel’s Première Electro Box containing seven colourful Première watches in fluorescent shades of pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red. The vivid set comes in its own steel case with black ADLC treatment.

J12 Electro
Chanel’s J12 Electro is made from black ceramic and steel with a rotating bezel and dial with indicators and numerals in bright rainbow hues. There are two sizes, a 38mm with self-winding Calibre 12.1 movement and a quartz 33mm watch… The choice is yours.

Boy·Friend Electro

Chanel’s Boy·Friend Electro is set with an array of brilliant-cut diamonds, the bezel is set with 64 diamonds and the dial sports a playful robot motif made from 78 diamonds. The elegant timepiece comes with an interchangeable quilted pattern leather strap with neon pink lining.

Code Coco Electro
Chanel’s Code Coco Electro comes with two black-lacquered dials divided by a Mademoiselle turnlock clasp, which you’ll find on the brand’s famed 2.55 handbags. One dial is adorned with a princess-cut diamond and the other shows the time. Plus, it also has 30 metres of water resistance in case you decide to go for a quick dip.
