Beyoncé and Adidas have officially announced a new partnership that will include a new collaborative line of apparel and footwear for women, as well as a re-launch of Queen Bey’s athleisure brand Ivy Park, of which she will retain full ownership of.
The Beyoncé x Adidas collaborative line will look to highlight the importance of women in leadership, inspire change, and empower the next generation of creatives with designs that challenge stereotypes of sportswear. In addition to the performance apparel and lifestyle-focused products, the partnership will also focus on a purpose-driven program that will give the stage to athletes, creatives and leaders of different fields.
“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
