She is a classically trained singer

Seyfried can sing, there’s no doubt about that. When the actress was still a teenager, she trained under a Broadway voice coach and studied classical opera  until she was 17-years-old. After showcasing incredible range and talent in Mamma Mia!, Les Misérables, and off-Broadway production The Way We Get By, Seyfried is finally heading for the big stage with upcoming musicalThelma & Louise.

A humble jack of all trades, Seyfried flaunts a host of skills beyond the silver screen. In an exclusive interview with Vogue Hong Kong, she shares how attending a crocheting class to learn how to patch up her favourite pair of Alexander Wang cashmere pants kickstarted the long-time hobby. Having crafted numerous items for friends and family over the years, she also often designs creations of her own to wear. “My two favourite pieces of clothing I’ve made are my puffy rainbow “knit-collage” yarn jacket and a bag I made on the set of ‘The Crowded Room’.”

She’s on the board for INARA

The International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance (INARA) is a non-profit dedicated to providing refugee children with access to medical and mental health care. A humanitarian in her own right, Seyfried got involved with the organisation through her husband, officially joining him on their board of directors in 2018. Apart from posting throwbacks, slice of life snaps of life on the farm, and pre-event glam shots, Seyfried uses her Instagram to help spread awareness of the work INARA is doing.
