Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially tied the knot! The couple wed in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas this weekend, reports People. According to court records obtained by the publication, the duo obtained their marriage license in Clark County, Nevada.

While little is known about the ceremony itself, which occurred on Saturday 16 July, the couple reportedly kept it private and small. “It was super, super small,” a source told People. “[Jennifer’s] mom and kids were there. They just wanted to be married so they got married.” According to documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times, Lopez also plans to legally change her name to Jennifer Affleck.

The couple got engaged back in April of this year. They had announced their relationship in May 2021, rekindling a romance that dominated many headlines in the early 2000s. The stars met while filming their 2001 film, Gigli, and were engaged by late 2002. They eventually separated in 2004, citing excessive media attention as the reason behind the split.

“I feel so lucky and happy and proud to be with him,” Lopez said of Affleck earlier this year. “It’s a beautiful love story that we got a second chance… I just feel very happy and lucky to be in a relationship that’s happy and loving, and I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe.”
