She is a film producer

While most of the world might only know Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven in Stranger Things, the young British actress is equally talented off-screen. Aside from assuming the female lead in Enola Holmes when she was 16, she also took part in producing the film with her sister, Paige Brown, under her family’s production company PCMA Productions. Her journey as a film producer continues: she is currently working on producing three Netflix film projects, namely A Time Is Lost, Damsel and The Girls I’ve Been, the latter two of which will see Brown starring in a lead role.

When she was 14, Millie Bobby Brown founded her own clean beauty brand Florence By Mills, named after her great grandmother. Clean, vegan and cruelty-free, the line-up includes everything from soothing under-eye patches to cream blushes and glowy lip oils.

She is UNICEF’s youngest-ever Goodwill Ambassador

On World Children’s Day in 2018, she was announced as UNICEF’s youngest Goodwill Ambassador in New York, joining a list of UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors including David Beckham, Jackie Chan and Priyanka Chopra. Brown’s relationship with UNICEF dates back to 2016, when she hosted its 70th anniversary celebrations at the United Nations.

She is deaf in one ear

Brown has congenital hearing loss in one ear, meaning that she was born partially deaf in one ear. She gradually entirely lost her hearing entirely in that ear, but, evidently, has not let this hinder her from pursuing what she loves.

She might be releasing her own music

Apart from acting, Brown is also passionate about singing and has cited Amy Winehouse as one of her musical inspirations. She once revealed on The Tonight Show that she was writing and recording music with her brother — perhaps we’ll see a single from her soon!
