The most anticipated weekend of the cultural calendar year has returned— Coachella. Across the Colorado desert, a constellation of celebrities descended in a masterclass of vintage revival and pared-back minimalism, setting the tone for the season ahead. With Weekend 1 now concluded—and a wave of nostalgia sparked by Justin Bieber’s performance—this year’s Coachella style moments are already etched into memory. 

Notably, 2026 marks a defining moment for Asian and Asian diaspora representation, with a record number of artists taking to the festival’s stages. Global girl group KATSEYE made a striking debut on the Sahara Stage, opening with their latest single Pinky Up, before bringing out EJAE, Remi Ami and Audrey Nuna for a high-energy performance of Golden—a nod to the breakout trio from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters. Elsewhere, TAEMIN made history as the first Korean male artist to command a solo stage at Coachella, while BINI broke new ground as the first Filipino group to perform at the festival—stepping out in coordinated custom ensembles that balanced sleek, stage-ready precision with a distinctly modern, high-gloss edge.
