This autumn, indulge in all your truffle desires with some of the best white truffle menus in town.

Radical Chic

Perched atop the ICC with panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, Italian restaurant Radical Chic presents an innovative white truffle degustation menu, featuring both contemporary and traditional ways of highlighting the favoured fungus. The Eggs Four Ways sees sturgeon caviar, salmon ikura and sea urchin with cream of potato and shaved white truffles for a creamy and decadent amalgamation of flavours. Meanwhile, the A5 Wagyu Beef Raviolo “Dumpling” sees a more radical take, fusing traditional Chinese dumplings with Italian ravioli for a soupy bite topped with fragrant white truffles.

Sushi Hakucho

Sushi Hakucho’s Kyushu-style omakase brings together two coveted ingredients for the ultimate autumn indulgence. The halibut & bafun sea urchin roll is elevated with Shanghai hairy crab roe and a generous dusting of white truffle, while house-made miso and balsamic vinegar balance the sweetness of the crab with depth and complexity. Another star dish featuring jet-fresh seafood is the Hokuriku snow crab and Shanghai hairy crab bean curd roll, with the snow crab lending a more savoury taste to the creamy richness of the hairy crab. A luxurious mayonnaise dressing and white truffle shavings complete the decadent dish.

Soil To Soul

Soil To Soul presents arguably the most unique white truffle menu in Hong Kong, offering a vegetarian spread influenced by the restaurant’s groundings in Korean temple food. The asparagus with truffle mashed potatoes offers a neutral, creamy base for the aromatic fungus to shine, while another noteworthy dish is the deep-fried yam drizzled with white truffle in a grain syrup –  an unexpected surprise of crunchy and creamy, savoury and sweet. LPM

Central lunchtime staple LPM presents lashings of white truffle across their range of French Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant’s signature plump and oozing burrata is made next level with delicate flakes of white truffle,  while the aromatic mushroom is scattered across house-made pastas rigatoni, linguini and gnocchi that have been doused in a cream sauce to allow the truffle to shine.

Giacomo

Giacomo celebrates white truffle season with its perfectly al-dente homemade pasta, repertoire of premium seafood and expert manipulation of seemingly simple ingredients. A humble egg is topped with white truffle and married with Girolle mushroom to complement the truffle’s earthiness, while a crunchy, sweet celery root and savoury parmesan foam round off the dish. Meanwhile, in perhaps the most traditional pairing of white truffle, a homemade tagliolini is doused in a luscious and creamy sauce comprising mushroom jus, butter and parmesan cheese before topped with lavish lashings of white truffle.
