After four months of renovation, SEVVA has reopened to reveal a  transformed look – both sophisticated yet utterly ethereal – designed by internationally-acclaimed founder Bonnae Gokson. She described the process as a “labour of love,” emphasising her hopes of the space bringing joy and inspiration to all who see it, believing that “creativity is intelligence.”

SEVVA’s Harbourside dining room sees the most dramatic change, with the installation of a kaleidoscopic floral dome and 36 custom-made gypsy chandeliers. 100,000 silk flowers line the dome’s interior, providing a lush and vibrant backdrop to the dazzling chandeliers that seem to grow amongst the foliage. These patented works of art each fall at 1.7 meters long with a collective 76,000 hand-crafted crystals in a gleaming array of vivid jewel-tones. The result is a whimsical otherworldly landscape that appears to flicker quietly as each coloured crystal shifts in the light, their glowing beams reflected across the interior. The reconfigured and enlarged TASTE BAR is another pleasing update to SEVVA’s layout, with its gold-leaf trim detailing enhancing the already-ethereal ambience. The iconic terrace, as before, elevates the whole experience.

Aside from interior renovations, SEVVA has also refreshed its menu of fusion, east-meets-west dishes. Award-winning chef Chase Kojima has worked with SEVVA to inject new dishes, including Pan-fried Coral Garoupa with Goma Ponzu and Wok-fried Boston Lobster with aka Miso, Nori Butter, Wakame & Kombu. All-time favourites such as the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Bowl, Vegetable Nub Nub and Wagyu Beef Cheek & OX Tongue Pot Pie remain.
