What better way to bring in the season than with matcha-filled beverages from Hong Kong’s home-grown matcha brand Matchali? Following on from the success of its launch at Landmark earlier this year, the concept cafe, founded by Cousins Cara and Laura Li, opens its second outpost at Pacific Place this month, showcasing neutral tones and a modern-zen aesthetic in which to serve up their cult matcha-infused creations.

Matchali’s expansive, customisable menu combines popular drink choices with the traditional methods of matcha infusion. The Pacific Place menu will launch autumnal offerings including Apple Hojicha Cold Brew topped with fresh mint, a Pink Latte combining organic beetroot, milk and agave, and a Matcha Chai Latte and Hojicha Chai Latte, both delicately spiced with cinnamon and sweetened with raw cane sugar. Signature blends of the Matcha and Hojicha Lattes remain, as well as the Traditional Hand Whisked Matcha, complete with its antique chawan (tea bowl).

A new custom addition is CBD drops, said to help amplify the sense of serenity associated with many of Matchali’s drinks. The RESET Bioscience THC-free nano-liposome CBD tincture is designed for both hot and cold beverages. The cafe will also offer a selection of cakes and pastries including matcha croissants and matcha sesame banana bread.

Matchali will open on 7 September at Pacific Place, Shop 200D, Level L2
