Tucked away in an alley off of Sai Ying Pun’s Third Street, LucAle boasts a delightful combination of neighbourly charm and artisanal flair—just the kind mums love. Take her to revel in heartfelt Italian hospitality and quality cuisine with the restaurant’s signature brunch menu. On Mother’s Day, mums are greeted with a rose upon arrival and a vibrant selection of sharing plates upon seating. Burrata, vibrant salads, free-flow drinks, the beloved ‘LucAle Pizzetta’, dessert and lots of cold cuts are a given, but if you have room for more, supplement the feast with LucAle’s homemade pastas and mains. Clipper Lounge x Sulwhasoo

Treat mum to an afternoon tea inspired by one of her favourite skincare brands! This May, Clipper Lounge at The Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong is teaming up with Korean luxury skincare giant Sulwhasoo for “The Ultimate Indulgence Afternoon Tea”. Taking notes from the brand’s signature Ultimate S series, the menu showcases a delightful array of sweet and savoury treats infused with ginseng and ginseng berry. Munch on classics like a coronation chicken sandwich or scones with clotted cream before sinking your teeth into new creations like a cheesecake with ginseng vanilla and shortbread. Wash it all down and make a toast to mum with a unique ginseng-inspired mocktail that Stefano Bussi, Bar Manager at The Aubrey, has created specially for the collaboration.

Whether its just you and mum or the whole family in tow, each guest partaking in “The Ultimate Indulgence Afternoon Tea” will receive a mini anti-aging gift set with products from Sulwhasoo’s The Ultimate S skincare line and more exclusive items to be redeemed at designated stores. If mum is free on May 9 or 10, she might also be interested in an immersive Korean Scent Workshop hosted at the Mandarin Suite as part of this collaboration.
