The changing seasons can wreak havoc on our immune system, which may subsequently need a boost in vital vitamins. One simple way to up your intake is through juicing. To make the process as simple as possible, we’ve created a list of two-ingredient juices to help keep you fighting fit.

Spinach + Lemon

Spinach has always been one of the first superfoods to be recognised. Spinach is full of iron , as well as vitamin B6, B9 and E. Iron helps with anemia and fatigue, while the vitamin C in lemon helps to absorb the iron in spinach. You can also use apples or yuzu if you prefer.

Celery + Pear

Celery is notoriously helpful in combatting bloating, and this is due to its detox properties. It’s rich in beta carotene, a component that helps to release toxins and boost immunity. It’s also rich in potassium, which helps to remove sodium from the body. The sweetness of pear will mellow the strong flavour of celery.

Kale + Apple

The biggest superfood of the decade, kale is rich in Vitamin B, iron and glucosinolate, an anti-cancer component that helps in preventing breast cancer and prostate cancer. While any sweet fruit can go with kale, apple makes a wonderfully refreshing match.

Orange + Tomato

The flavour combination sounds a little odd at first, but this mix is known to be a powerful post-hangover cure. Oranges are rich in vitamin C that help in relieving fatigue, while tomatoes are rich in potassium, great for stabilising blood pressure.

Pineapple + Peach

If you’ve been suffering with bloating and congestion, this (sweet) mixture will work wonders. Pineapples are rich in bromelain, an enzyme that helps in reducing inflammation and bloating, while peaches are rich in fibre pectin, making this an effective power duo.
