Sure, London has all the luxury department stores — Harrods, Selfridges, the lot — but the vintage scene gives them a genuine run for their money. Sourced independently through in-person visits and no small amount of Instagram and TikTok stalking, the stores below cover every aesthetic: grungy and gothic, Y2K, or even a proper fur coat for winter. If John Galliano were still in London studying at CSM, we’re fairly sure he’d have a rail on hold at every single one.
Beyond Retro
My favourite branch has to be the one in King’s Cross’s Coal Drops Yard. It’s London’s biggest Beyond Retro, packing in over 10,000 unique vintage finds, so give yourself proper time to dig. Great mirrors in the changing rooms, an easy layout, and multiple branches across the city — be sure to visit at least one while you’re in London.

Rokit Vintage
Every time I come in here, I’m sure to find something I like. Leather jackets for as low as £60? Yes, please! Rokit started life as a market stall in Camden in the 1980s, founded on a love of vintage American denim, and has since grown into one of the city’s most reliable one-stop vintage shops. The racks are deep, the prices are kind, and there’s a very real chance you’ll leave with something you didn’t know you needed.

Bella Ling
Bella Ling deals less in decade-specific vintage and more in preloved luxury, think authenticated Chanel, Dior, and Hérmes rather than a rummage through the rails, Based in Knightsbridge, it’s the pick for anyone whose idea of “vintage” is really just “what Chanel was doing circa 1998.”
