Erling Haaland has emerged as the 2026 World Cup’s ultimate breakout star, putting all eyes on him and now also on his long-term girlfriend, Isabel Haugseng Johansen.

Long before Haaland was terrorising defenders on the world stage, the two crossed paths at Bryne FK, the Norwegian club where he made his professional debut at just 15. While they met in their adolescence, their romance didn’t blossom until 2021, about a year after his high-profile transfer to Borussia Dortmund. It was Johansen who made the first move, sliding into Haaland’s messages to spark the connection. Talk about tactical timing!

Over the years, their relationship has flourished, and in late 2024, the couple welcomed their first child together.
