Dua Lipa was first introduced to Callum Turner at The River Café in London by the restaurant’s co-founder, Ruth Rogers, while dining with her father. Their first meeting didn’t spark romance straight away, but there was definitely something there.

Their paths crossed again a year later in Los Angeles during a dinner Lipa was having with a friend. Turner approached her and inquired about her book, which turned out to be Hernan Diaz’s Trust—the very same title he was reading at the time. Upon learning they were both at the end of the first chapter, Turner charmingly remarked, “So, we’re on the same page,” and the rest was history.
January 2024: Rumours Sparked
After Dua Lipa ended her relationship with Romain Gavras, the French film director, the celebrity gossip outlet DeuxMoi reported Lipa and Turner looking affectionate at Tower Bar after the 2024 Golden Globes.
The pair was also spotted that same month sharing a slow dance at the after-party for the premiere of Masters of Air, an event Dua Lipa attended to show her support for Callum Turner’s latest film project.
February 2024: Making the After-Party Rounds
Callum Turner joined Dua Lipa at the 66th Annual Grammys after-party, following her performance earlier that evening. The couple was subsequently seen walking hand-in-hand later that month at the BAFTAs after-party hosted by British Vogue and Tiffany & Co.

In a photo dump carousel posted to Instagram, Dua Lipa shared a picture of her and Callum Turner embracing, effectively confirming their relationship on the platform.
August 2024: Dua’s 29th Birthday Celebration
Accompanied by her nearest and dearest, the couple travelled to Ibiza for Dua Lipa’s 29th birthday festivities. To mark the occasion, Dua Lipa subsequently shared a collection of images from the trip on Instagram.
December 2024: Christmas with the Family
Dua Lipa confirmed on Instagram that the couple celebrated the holidays together at home. While an official announcement had yet to be made, observant fans were quick to notice what appeared to be an engagement ring on her left hand.
May 2025: Red-Carpet Met Gala Debut
The pair made their red-carpet debut at fashion’s biggest night out — the Met Gala in 2025, celebrating “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”.
June 2025: Engagement Goes Public
In an interview with British Vogue, Dua Lipa officially announced her engagement to Callum Turner. She revealed that Turner personalised the engagement ring after seeking advice from her sister and closest friends, remarking, “It’s so nice to know the person you’ll spend the rest of your life with knows you so well.” The interview also touched on the couple’s personal dynamics, including their commitment to a “two-and-a-half week rule” to ensure they are never separated for longer than that period. Additionally, Dua Lipa shared that she has adopted Callum Turner’s rottweiler-labrador mix as part of their life together.
August 2025: Becoming Business Partners
The couple took their partnership into business, co-founding TwentyTwo Films Limited, a production company they own equally. Registered to produce films and television, the venture marked their official entry into the industry as partners in both life and work.

The couple officially tied the knot in an intimate yet stylish ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall. For the occasion, Dua Lipa donned a bespoke ivory Schiaparelli outfit designed by Daniel Roseberry, featuring a tailored blazer paired with an asymmetric skirt. The festivities continued in Palermo, Italy, where the newlyweds hosted a grand celebration at Villa Valguarnera, a magnificent 18th-century estate. Surrounded by family and friends, the hosts welcomed icons such as Donatella Versace and Elton John. Throughout the weekend, Lipa showcased several high-fashion looks, including a feathered Bottega Veneta gown for the welcome event and a sheer white Chloé dress for brunch.
