In the heart of Central’s financial district, a new masterpiece has officially claimed its place at the pinnacle of global real estate. The Henderson, the flagship Grade A+ commercial landmark by Henderson Land, was recently honoured with the prestigious “World’s Best Property” title at the International Property Awards in London. This historic win marks the first time a Hong Kong project has ever secured the top global accolade, cementing the city’s status as a premier hub for architectural excellence. In addition to the top honour, the project was named “Best International Commercial High Rise Development” and “Best Commercial High Rise Development Asia Pacific”.

Designed by the legendary Zaha Hadid Architects, The Henderson is far more than a corporate address; it is a sculptural urban oasis. Its silhouette, an instantly recognisable departure from the traditional skyscraper, captures the organic exuberance of a Bauhinia bud in full bloom. This fluid form is brought to life by a cutting-edge glass façade—composed of over 4,000 bespoke, double-curved panels—that seamlessly integrates advanced technological functionality with world-class sustainability. Beyond its striking exterior, the building integrates a lush sky garden and AI-enabled systems, proving that the future of the workplace can be as sustainable as it is sophisticated.

Established in 1993, the International Property Awards are the industry’s highest honour, recognising excellence in architecture, development, and innovation. Evaluated by a rigorous panel of experts, this year’s competition saw 3,000 entries from across five global regions. Amidst such fierce international competition, The Henderson’s victory is a definitive testament to Hong Kong’s enduring influence on the world stage of luxury and design.
