When and where is the awards ceremony taking place? 

For the first time in the event’s history, the awards ceremony will be held in Hong Kong on March 26, 2026. The move recognises the city’s standing as a premier global dining destination. As a spokesperson for the organisation notes:

What can we expect? 

In collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the 2026 edition will bring together the region’s leading chefs, restaurateurs and food media for a curated multi-day programme. 

Aside from the highly anticipated 50 Best Restaurants in Asia Award, the event schedule features key events, including:

• #50BestTalks: A forum for discussing current topics in gastronomy and hospitality.
• 50 Best Signature Sessions: Collaborative dining experiences featuring 50 Best chefs cooking alongside local talent.
• Chefs’ Feast: A gathering celebrating Hong Kong’s culinary excellence and regional ingredients.
• ‘Meet the Chefs’ Roundtable: A media session offering insights from the region’s most prominent figures.

Ahead of the awards ceremony, 50 Best will announce its special accolades, which recognise excellence and innovation across the region. They will also release the extended 51-100 list, showcasing the region’s dining scene’s incredible depth and discovery potential.
