In Alex Consani’s own words, this Dsquared2 Autumn 2025 look is her “best runway”. Featuring a cropped fur cape paired with ultra low-waisted leather pants and a black cowboy hat, this look masterfully blends western charm with edgy sophistication. While the mix of textures and materials might seem unconventional on paper, the intentional tailoring of each piece creates a striking silhouette that accentuates Consani’s height and figure.

Consani’s walk for Mugler’s Autumn/Winter 2024 collection generated a lot of buzz as she pumped down the runway. The “Mugler walk”, defined by its power and intent, places an emphasis on each step. The structural tailoring of the dress, paired with her strut down the catwalk, helped paint a picture that is synonymous with the Mugler aesthetic.

This dress, worn by Consani during the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2025 show, is a striking example of modern couture. Inspired by a look from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall/Winter 2000 Couture collection, the piece—designed by Ludovic de Saint Sernin—was a true showstopper on the runway.

Versace’s Autumn 2025 show utilised a simple black carpeted runway. As Consani walked, the tassels adorning the ankle-length dress caught the light, creating the illusion of molten metal. The look was complemented by Consani’s bleached brows and blonde hair.

Matthieu Blazy’s first CHANEL Métiers d’Art show paid homage to New York City’s vibrant and diverse subway culture, spotlighting archetypal New Yorkers. Consani’s tailored suit embraced a more masculine aesthetic, balanced by feminine touches such as the tri-colored dangling earrings and the iconic Chanel black cap-toed heels. It serves as the perfect example of a modern take on traditional elegance.

Closing the “Summer of Love” segment at Vogue World 2025: Hollywood, Consani graced the runway in Valentino Couture—Alessandro Michele’s take on the costumes Sandy Powell originally designed for the 1992 film Orlando. The event, which celebrated the intersection of film and fashion, featured Consani wearing an off-white peasant blouse, a leather-studded corset, teal and white bloomers, and a dramatic ruffled cape. Her run down the stage was a standout moment, as she fully embodied her couture interpretation of Tilda Swinton’s iconic wardrobe from Orlando.
