張曼玉，是時尚優雅的化身，憑藉她在近30年的職業生涯中攝人心魄的眼神顛倒眾生。雖然在2010年闊別香港影壇已經14年，張曼玉仍是大眾心中永恆不變的時尚偶像。

英國成長回流香港參選1983年香港小姐，奪得亞軍後便轉戰影視界尋求突破。從首部擔任女主角的《警察故事》到1988年的首部參與王家衛導演的作品《旺角卡門》，這部戲不僅讓張曼玉演技成功脫胎換骨，更也奠定了隨後張曼玉的影后地位。作為王家衛電影中重要的女主角，一套《花樣年華》便讓人無法忘記蘇麗珍的動人雙眸。

除了角色讓人印象深刻之外，她的旗袍造型更是電影中可圈可點的地方，當中由張叔平打造的旗袍造型將近21套，而張曼玉卻能展示出東方的內斂和性感、花樣風情的韻味、婀娜多姿的姿態都發揮得淋漓盡致。而在法國電影《Irma Vep》則以乳連體衣和哥德風格的妝容，徹底擺脫往日柔情女性的面貌。

螢幕前的各種形象的塑造是人人心中的經典女神，不過戲外更是個時裝精，年輕時候喜歡成熟低調的著裝額，卻換來為 Martin Margiela 所設計的 Hermès 擔任1998年秋冬時裝展模特兒。隨後與現任 Louis Vuitton 女裝創意總監 Nicolas Ghesquièr 分屬好友，不僅化身品牌繆斯，更曾登上《VOGUE》英國版封面。然而作為時裝寵兒的她，Dior、Chanel等時裝展、各大電影節動地毯上都看見她的時髦蹤影。

甚至在2007年出席時尚盛宴 Met Gala，在大都會博物館的廁所內與Charlotte Gainsbourg 吃起香菸的樣子，讓永遠優雅的張曼玉多了幾分率真和時尚的個性。
