一年一度的世界七大經濟體國家的年度會議，各國元首都被邀請到法國的比亞里茨海濱度假小鎮，曾經是 Coco Chanel 及 Frank Sinatra 的棲身之地。主要談及有關中美貿易戰、伊朗核協議、香港示威、亞馬遜山火等，以及剛上任不久的英國首相 Boris Johnson 首次亮相國際舞台，商討英國退歐的事宜。
而今次不少時裝品牌都加入 G7 峰會，就着環境保護的問題做出有效承諾，如 Adidas、Nike、Burberry、Hermes 還有 LVMH 集團都藉此簽署有關保護環境的協議。與此同時，除了大家關心的時裝品牌之外，當然還有美國第一夫人的裝扮，惹人注目。

第一日跟隨特朗普的美國第一夫人 Melania Trump，身穿由 Raf Simons 所設計的黃色 Calvin Klein 連身裙，配有粉紅色的印花作為點綴，搭配Christian Louboutin 的 shocking pink 高跟鞋，可見 Melania 對 Raf Simons 的設計情有獨鍾，就算設計並非當季也願意一穿再穿，聽說 Trump 也購入Raf Simons 與 Templa 聯乘系列。不過最為有趣的是，這造型完全吸引了身旁迎接他們的法國士兵們，一直用眼光目送第一夫人入境。

其實 Melania 早在星期五晚上的飛機來到法國，造型師 Hervé Pierre 以黑白毛呢的 Chanel 外套，一條白色緊身牛仔褲及手腕白色價值$5,000 美元的 Chanel 手袋的形象，為 Melania 打造出經典隨意的法式時尚。Herve Pierre 更做足準備工作，第一日以 Chanel 造型到步法國，皆因比亞里茨是 Coco Chanel 與 Arthur “Boy” 相識之地，同年1915年啟發這位才華洋溢的設計師在此地開設第一間高級訂製時裝店。

而在星期六 Melania 決定以銀色高跟鞋車襯托簡約的象牙白 Gucci 連身裙，會見法國總統 Emmanuel Macron 及夫人 Brigitte Macron 。

隨後 Melania Trump 也穿上 Sarah Burton 所設計的 Alexander McQueen 鮮紅色連身裙現身晚會，當然一身英國品牌的服裝難免容易被解讀成與英國相關的信息，但 Hervé Pierre 並非擅長發出隱藏信息的人。

早前 Melania Trump 也跟隨大會安排前往附近的 Esplette 村莊參觀，典雅大方的無袖連身裙同樣來自 Raf Simons 之手的 Calvin Klein 設計。
